Are you planning your next camping trip and wondering which mattress would best fit your high-roof van or minibus? Then you've come to the right place!
Over the years, we've gathered some experience from our customers and would like to share a few tips with you today. Basically, you have the choice between roll-up mattresses and folding mattresses.
Roll-up mattresses are super compact and can be stored in a space-saving way – perfect if space is a bit tight at home. Many are made of the natural material cappok and are therefore nicely breathable. The slight disadvantage: they can't quite match the stability and comfort of folding mattresses.

Folding mattresses made of high-quality cold foam are the most comfortable, but also the most expensive option. These dimensionally stable mattresses are very durable and, thanks to their zoning, a dream for your back. However, they require more space and are somewhat heavier to transport. The more affordable alternative is foam folding mattresses – lightweight and inexpensive, but with slightly less durability.

Our tip: For short trips or when space is really limited, Kappok roll-up mattresses are a great choice. Lightweight, compact, and sustainable to boot – what more could you want? For longer trips and maximum sleeping comfort, we recommend cold foam folding mattresses. Yes, they're a bit bulky, but you'll get a luxurious night's rest!
